What's next?

Our aim at Risen Hope Baptist Church is to walk with other believers in Christ toward God by the power of the Holy Spirit. We're excited for you to join us in becoming more like Christ with each passing day! Below you can discover how to learn more about our church, become a member, participate in gospel community and be discipled as a follower of Christ.

Risen Hope 101

Through this class, learn more about Risen Hope Baptist Church's mission, vision, ministry philosophy, and convictions. We also look forward to answering your questions. Although completing Risen Hope 101 is the first step to becoming a member at our church, you are encouraged to participate even if membership isn’t on your radar or in your plans just yet.

Membership

A member of a local church is committed to worshipping God corporately, holding other believers accountable, loving one another, and encouraging others to lead lives pleasing to God (1 Corinthians 5:9-132 Corinthians 2:5-8). We highly value membership because we believe it is a key contributor to a healthy and vibrant church.

The first step to membership is to attend our Risen Hope 101 class, where you will learn more about our church. Then, if you are ready to pursue membership, click below to complete our membership questionnaire. Once your application is submitted, you will be contacted by an elder to arrange a time for an interview. We believe baptism is a powerful, public symbol and identification with the work of Jesus Christ in a believer's life and require it for membership at Risen Hope Baptist Church.

Gospel Community

At Risen Hope Baptist Church we show our love for one another as brothers and sisters in Christ by building relationships after Sunday services, praying for one another, and spending time with one another.

We also host small groups called Life Groups to help build community centered on the gospel. Participating in a Life Group is a practical way we love one another and grow in our knowledge of and love for Christ. Life Groups consist of 6-12 adults and strive to meet twice a month at group members’ homes from September through May. Childcare is provided for most groups with small children.

Discipleship

Jesus gave the grand project of discipleship to His followers to accomplish together. Discipleship is the lifelong community project of becoming more like Jesus Christ starting with conversion, continuing in sanctification, and resulting in multiplication. And this discipleship journey happens in the local church.

Every ministry at Risen Hope Baptist Church aims to equip disciples of Christ, including our Sunday School program for all ages, Bible studies, youth ministry, Vacation Bible School, and more.
