My aspiration is to be an imitator of Christ – to share the love of the gospel, to disciple and to teach others, and to use my spiritual gifts to the glory of God. I believe that's what a call to eldership means, and it is an absolute joy to be able to serve a church that has walked in faithfulness and that I have been so richly blessed by in this way.

Psalm 100:1-5 is a wonderful picture of what our congregational response ought to be to the goodness of God. I pray that individually and corporately our thanksgiving would be overflowing as a testament to the world about who God is.

Psalm 100: 1-5

"Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!
Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

For the Lord is good;
his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations."
