I oversee the development, growth, and implementation of Risen Hope Baptist Church’s two-pronged discipleship strategy: 1) intentional community building and 2) providing structured educational opportunities for all ages and stages of life.
I am passionate about helping disciples grow in their love for God and one another through studying and applying God’s Word and Christian doctrine in community. In addition to my pastoral responsibilities, I am in the process of completing my Masters of Arts in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, Orlando.
I was born in Port Arthur, Texas and raised by Vietnamese immigrants. After graduating from Texas State University, I moved to Orlando to work at Walt Disney World.
In 2012, the Lord radically transformed my life through faithful men who discipled me. Around this time, I felt called into vocational ministry after learning about God’s desire to use his church to spread his glory in the book of Ephesians. Prior to joining Risen Hope Baptist Church in 2022, I served on staff at Mosaic Church in Winter Garden, FL in kids ministry and eventually as the Director of Christian Education.
I am married to my best friend, Allison, and we have one daughter named Marcy. I enjoy keeping up with sports (football, basketball, and tennis) and having deep conversations about life. In my spare time, you can often catch me reading about theology, spending time with my family, and working on endless home projects.
